And one more time...

Just one more example from today's collection of reader gripes...
C: I am writing this is regards to what was on the front page of todays paper......"Woman plagued by improper fit"..........I found this to be very "improper",,,,especially for a front page NEWS article,,,With so much happening in this world today, surely you could have found something else to have on the front page!!!! This was like opening one of those awful tabloids,,,,,,,and I found no worth or value to a article such as this. What is happening with your paper and who are you trying to reach with articles such as this?? I use to think your paper was conservative and wrote articles that pertained to today's problems and once in a while,,,some good things that are happening (we don't see much of that!) but this article was of no value or interest to us in light of the world situation and it was ridiculous for you to even have it in the paper let alone the front page!!!!!!!!! ! The above article was about "4000 troops dead",,,,,how can "eight out of 10 women wearing the wrong bra size" be even considered to be of that magnitude!!!! or importance???? Get real !!!!! - M.C.

A: Whoa, looks like there was a sale on punctuation marks.
Readers often complain that all we print is bad news. I wasn't aware that that's all some readers want to read.

How is the picture of the bra any different than the verious advertisments filled with woman posing in various bras and underwear? With so much "bad" news, I think it's refreshing to remind people that it's ok to laugh every once and again.

If I were a woman wearing an ill-fitting bra, I'd probably be a whole lot more PO'd about that than anything else.

I have a suggestion for GOE--put all the good news in one section of the paper and all the bad news in one section of the paper. That way, we won't have to be exposed to things we don't like. No,wait ... a good news edition and a bad news edition. Butwhere to put sports??!!

Thanks for keeping us "abreast" of the situation. The story was fun, but I don't think the author took it far enough. Look around, there are many women wondering around Washington with bad bras. Yes - women should get a good fitting - but if larger sizes are hard to find around here - what good does that do? It would have been nice to know where to go after you get the fitting... and get some info on who carries what sizes...

do all those commas make your want to pause again and again or just keep on reading because without punctuation one would never know when to stop so he or she might just keep reading and reading until who knows when and then just sit the newspaper down and pick up a pen and paper ok maybe a pencil and write a letter to the grumpy old editor who everyone knows will be just as outraged as this woman who is probably just upset that her bra isnt fitting just right and it makes her whole day a miserable mess and then her husband comes home and wants to know why supper isnt ready yet and that starts a whole other situation that parker burroughs has no power to control but maybe if he wrote an article for next mondays morning paper about quick meals in less than 15 minutes but of course then rachel ray would want to file suit against him for stealing her idea and the next thing you know her lawyer shows up with this perfect fitting bra and wins the case just because she looked better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah what if that happened????????
