Driving to work this morning, I saw a woman standing by the side of the road with a girl about 7 years old, waiting for the school bus to arrive. The child was wearing a short-sleeved summer dress. And goose bumps, I imagine. The temperature was 40 degrees, with a sprinkle of rain.
Some people have no sense.

hello who is dumb here?
C'mon. Seven-year-olds might not know any better than to go out into the frigid rain without a coat, but the adult standing at the bus stop with her (her mother, I presume) should know better.
I was driving out to the house from town a few minutes ago and saw a guy operating a riding mower with a 2-year-old on his lap. The gene pool is getting pretty darned shallow.
More than a few parents abdicated responsibility a long time ago, friends. People just plain don't think.
