Whine, whine, whine

C: This newspaper is the largest waste of money we pay, but my husband keeps reading it. -L.R.

A: I'm wondering what your husband believes is his largest waste of money.

C: Your paper is too expensive! - J.S.

A: Aw, c'mon! It's 50 cents! And it's free online. We haven't raised the newsstand price of the newspaper since the early 1990s. Can you think of anything else that has managed to do that?

Criminey! You pay 89 cents for a candy bar and once you eat it, it's gone. At least you can wrap fish in a newspaper.

Lemme know how you spend the $200 you don't spend on the paper.

That reader's comment had to crinkle ORPP's "B" section.

I think your paper need to quit publishing fines that the city residents get from some jerk in the mayor office. Do you ever notice that he does not fine the the people in Jollick Manor for the graffitti on the walls of that neigborhood also never fines the city for not fixing the roads just us poor taxpaying public. You should tell the city no more free publicity.

Doesn't the county own Jollick Manor?
